JULY 2020 | We had the GAN Kick-Off workshop

We had the Global Agroforestry Network (GAN) kick-off last week!

We envision to become an inclusive network of agroforestry scientists, aiming to understand the ecological and socioeconomic complexity of agroforests for building the sustainable agricultural systems of the future.

Thank you very much to Jaboury Ghazoul (ETH Zürich), Kristoffer Hylander (Stockholm University), Eric Lambin (Standford University), Yadvinder Malhi (Oxford University), Alexandra Morel (Dundee University), Ivette Perfecto (University of Michigan), Luke Powell (University of Glasgow), Ingolf Steffan-Dewenter (University of Wuerzburg), Teja Tscharntke (University of Goettingen), and John Vandermeer (University of Michigan) for conforming the Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) of the GAN.

We are also happy to announce that Tom Wanger (Westlake University) will be the Chair of the SSC, and Manuel Toledo-Hernández (Westlake University) the GAN coordinator.

Many exciting projects are coming ahead!
